Devil Burgers

4 hamburger buns

Butter or margarine

1 pound Wild Type Ranch ground beef

¼ cup onion, finely chopped

1 egg

¼ cup ketchup

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

¾ teaspoon seasoned salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon prepared horseradish

8 slices cheese (optional)

4 slices bacon, cut in half and fried (optional)

1/2 avocado, sliced (optional)


Spread both sides of hamburger buns lightly with butter or margarine.  Set oven to broil or 550°.  Broil buns, open and inside up 4 inches from heat until toasted. 

Mix beef and remaining ingredients.  Spread mixture on toasted buns and broil tops 4 inches from heat until done (4-5 minutes).  Place optional cheese and bacon on top and broil briefly until cheese begins to melt.

If desired, serve topped with a slice of avocado for a real treat!
